  • Ok, I know, it's been forever... but I don't have any good excuse, so we're moving on. :P  All that matters is that I update now, yes?  Good.  Now then.

School's been alright.  I've just been in a really odd mood ever since Chinese New Year break.  I didn't get much sleep which is part of the  problem... Mouse, Em, Mir!  You are to blame!~ no, not really... but it was fun fun fun.  I wouldn't trade my sleep back for that week at all. ^^  However, I think I should have gotten more sleep once I came back here... 'cause I've been a walking zombie, seriously.  Schoolwork is beyond me.  I still get it done and do a decent job (but not anything below a B+ or I'll... go bananas. :P) but I'm just not in a working mood, ya know?  I think it'll be better this weekend after I get some sleep.  I didn't get much last weekend on account of babysitting.

Oh, guys, guess what? I get to go to the Phillipines!!!  E-mail me if you want to know more about that. ;)  This accomplishes two things.  One, I get e-mail! (haven't had much recently...)  Two, I get to tell you personally and give individual responses so everyone is happy. :)  Ok, I know, I get most of the satisfaction... but that's just how it'll be for now.

What else to tell you? OH! yes, about drama.  I didn't try out for that... too much memorization and after-school practices for my already jam-packed schedual.  (Sorry I haven't been updating!)  But, in the place of drama, I'm doing swim team which is a better choice for me, I think.  It's great!  I haven't been on a swim team since... 7th grade.  Man, I'm getting old.  Anyway, LESLIE got into the play!  WHAHOO!  I get to go and see her perform in a week or two. :)  She's had a challenge, but she's enjoying it.  She'll do awesomely.  Can't wait to see it!  My room-mate and I were so glad when it was drama workday and we didn't have to do it. We were rejoicing when our suite-mates weren't around (aka Lez and Rachel) and when Mr. Beck (aka the drama and band teacher) wasn't nearby.

Banquet season is here.  In fact, the banquet's on Friday.  Banquets are the school's answer to dances... but guys still ask girls unless it's a Sadie Hawkins.  There are two per year.  The first one is the "All School" and the second one is for your class.  There's the freshman, sophmore, and then the JSB.  Juniors and Seniors have theirs together, and the juniors plan it for the seniors.  It's cool, and it's what the school looks forward to every year. I hope to understand what all the hoopla is for.  Frankly, I"m not all that excited.  I'm sure none of you will be suprised to find out that I'm not going with a guy; I scared them all away, I think.  I'll be going with some of my friends (Julie and Sarah), and with Leslie. :)  So, it'll be cool, but it'll be a rush since it's on FRIDAY and school ends at 3:15 and we have to leave by 5:30 so we can arrive in time!  So, the campus will be a flurry of life and girls screaming trying to get their hair, make up, and other things ready while guys are standing around in their tuxes going "what's all the fuss about".  Frankly, I almost side with the guys on this one.  No, this doesn't mean I'm going in casual clothes. I will cooperate and wear a dress and do make up etc., but I won't be freaking out as much as everyone else. :P  That's probably because I don't have a date. XD ha!  Seriously.  My life would be a comedy.  When you're not laughing at my antics, you'd be laughing at other's antics around me.

Other updates include that I'm actually growing closer to God and seeking Him more.  Nothing really specific that I can think of, but I really am trying to draw nearer to Him... and I can actually see some progress, so it's encouraging, you know?  I don't know how to explain it, but that's the way it is, and I'm fine with that.

Anyway, love you all and hope you enjoyed this "update" in Steph's life.

    Ciao!
    ~Steph
